Becoming a part of CDAL was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my music.
I haven't always loved to play my instrument sometimes I just found it too stressful to constantly be worrying about auditions and the competitions that can sometimes weigh me down.
CDAL changed all of that, pushing me to perform and engage with new different audiences and experiment with different kinds of music.
Mentoring younger kids and performing for different audiences has helped me realize that music is so much more than just the notes on the page.
CDAL changed me as a person and as a musician.
It's the perfect blend of amazing music, great musicians, and I get to collaborate and bring joy to so many other people.
It's a really fantastic experience and it's made me love my instrument and music so much more.
This is why I love music.
This is why I enjoy playing the cello.
