Watercolor Painting for Beginners : Watercolor Painting Wet Technique

JOHN R.

JUNGER: There is a technique that'swater-colory, you can't achieve it with any of the medium.

It's called wet-in-wet.

IfI take some water and just wet an area until it's really wet and then if I take some colorand put it in that area, you'll going to find that it's going to get more, more and beautifulas I add other colors to it.

It has a softness and a feeling that nothing, nothing else couldpossibly have that would be meaningful.

Now, you're going to a feeling for wetness of thepaper when you do this because I'm making this kinda dry and this is vey wet.

And ifI did this, I'm going to stamp it, notice?.
